The SEC has claimed its place
in the last decade as the undisputed top conference in college football and the
numbers back it up as seven of the last ten national champions have been
produced (Florida 2007 and 2009, LSU 2008, Auburn 2011 and Alabama 2010, 2012 and 2013).
They happen to also be the only
conference with its own broadcast television deal through CBS. Since 2001, the
network became exclusive to SEC football and the rewards have been reaped.
Some have even called the SEC
the developmental league for the NFL, which says a lot.
With the dead zone of the
sports season unofficially underway, why not forecast the 2014 SEC on CBS
schedule.
