The calendar has turned to December and another crosstown showdown between the DePaul Blue Demons and the UIC Flames will take place Wednesday night at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, Ill.

Here are five players to keep an eye out between DePaul and UIC:

1) DePaul guard Billy Garrett Jr:

Despite the Blue Demons' slow start at 2-3 overall, Garrett Jr. has proven once more to be the foundation, leading the way in points per game with 15.4.

In DePaul's 82-78 win over Norfolk State on Nov. 23, Garrett Jr. recorded his sixth career 20-point outing.

2) DePaul forward Myke Henry:

As one of three DePaul players to start all five games this season, Henry has done his part in scoring with 12.0 PPG, to go along with 5.0 rebounds per game.

3) DePaul forward Tommy Hamilton IV:

Hamilton has shown signs of progression leading the Blue Demons in rebounding with 6.8 per game.

In terms of scoring, Hamilton is third on the team with 10.3 per game.

4) UIC forward Dikembe Dixson:

The Flames lead the Horizon League in rebounding and a significant reason as to why is forward Dikembe Dixson.

Dixson leads the team with 6.8 rebounds per game.

5) UIC forward Tai Odiase:

When it comes to offensive rebounds, Odiase has been a monster leading the team with 3.0 per game.
