What to look for at Big East media day

With college football at the halfway point for most teams, the winter of college basketball lurks right behind as most of the power conferences are holding Media Days this week.

The Big East steps into the spotlight on Wednesday as it hosts its annual Media Day at Madison Square Garden in New York, N.Y.

With defending four-time regular season conference champion Villanova picked as the favorite once more in a league which produced seven NCAA Tournament teams last season, with Xavier going the farthest in the Elite Eight.
